As of November 1st, 2011, TRUEFFICIENCY Basic remote service is available for Machine Tool Service (MTS). The innovative Konecranes remote services product family, TRUCONNECT, aims at offering new types of services and better value for customers through remote connection. The first remote services for overhead lifting equipment available from Konecranes were launched earlier this year.
TRUEFFICIENCY Basic from Konecranes is an online production monitoring service. It is a sophisticated tool that enables customers to improve production efficiency. It records the usage of machine tools and presents the utilization as online views and reports in Konecranes Customer Portal.
These online tools allow the customer to view the availability of their equipment base and analyze the reasons behind unexpected down time. This enables them to identify the bottlenecks in the production process, benchmark different production lines and locations and also identify the critical machines for corrective actions.
The real-time production data produced from TRUEFFICIENCY Basic is provided to customers on the Internet, which makes it available 24/7. Through secure remote connection the system sends the usage data of individual machines to Konecranes Remote Center where the data is analyzed and compiled to online reports for the customer to view.
Konecranes MTS provides services for all types and brands of machine tools in the Engineering Industry. TRUEFFICIENCY Basic is currently available for machine tools in Finland and Norway.
