Konecranes expands its German service network by acquiring the service business of Dungs Kran- und Anlagentechnik GmbH

Konecranes has acquired the service business of Dungs Kran- und Anlagentechnik GmbH, a specialist in crane system services based in Voerde, Lower Rhine region in Germany. The value of the purchase is not being disclosed.

 

With the acquisition, effective from July 1, 2024, Konecranes expands its Germany-wide service network with a competent and experienced team at the new location in Voerde.

Dungs Kran- und Anlagentechnik GmbH specializes in the service, expert consulting and modernization services of crane systems in the western part of Germany. Founded in 1995 and with sales of more than EUR 1 million, Dungs Kran- und Anlagentechnik employs 8 people and maintains both modern and decades-old crane systems. In addition to inspections, preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, modernizations, and spare parts procurement, Dungs Kran- und Anlagentechnik also offers solutions in the area of lifting magnets.
