Stage two: cylinder rod mounting with break-off bolts to absorb impact

Machinery platform, easy access

Easy access via walkway to engine, generator, hydraulics, electrical panels, hoisting motor/winches
Powertrain can be fitted with a sound-dampening sliding cover: still easy access

Diesel-electric

High-capacity battery modules for maximum continuous operating time. Battery gives the freedom of diesel-powered operation without the CO2 and noise emissions.

The control system of diesel-electric Konecranes Noell Sprinter Carriers is designed in such a way that automation can be added without extensive modifications to the existing machines. Operators of existing terminals can convert manual sprinter carriers to automated, unmanned A-STRAD operation. A new terminal can start with manual equipment and convert to automated operation in the future.
