With over three years of experience at our company, Nava has carved out a niche as a Senior Material Compliance Engineer today. His role is critical for many reasons, one of which includes ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of Konecranes’ products globally.
“We regulate our company’s products so that we don’t spread any hazardous substances into the environment. It is important information for our customers, who are very interested in this topic,” Nava explained.
By checking hazardous substances and coordinating activities with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), Nava contributes to our company’s commitment to safety and sustainability in vital ways.
Steady growth in a supportive workplace
With a focus on bettering his communication and managerial skills, Nava has been able to find his stride in our company, building his confidence through continuous interactions with different stakeholders – both nationally in India as well as globally.

Life beyond work
Although now more focused on spending time with his family, Nava fondly remembers his athletic past when he played cricket and many other sports in college, with badminton currently keeping him active. In addition to his sporty side, Nava speaks both English and Tamil. His multilingual skills embody the inclusivity that he believes is integral to the success of our company.
“Here at our company’s Chennai location, we even organize some fun sports events. It provides a nice balance outside of my regular work tasks and helps me collaborate with others.”
Today, Nava is dedicated to spending time with his family. His children provide him with wonderful stability outside of his work, and he adores engaging in different family activities.
