Konecranes Plc's share subscriptions based on stock options

A total of 15,000 of Konecranes Plc’s new shares were subscribed for under the company’s stock option plans as follows:

The full subscription price of EUR 174,750 will be entered in the paid-in capital. Following the related subscriptions, the number of Konecranes Plc shares will increase to63,256,427. This number includes the shares held by the company.

The shares subscribed for under the stock options were registered in the Trade Register on May 8, 2012 on the basis of which the new shares will establish shareholder rights. Konecranes will apply for their listing, together with its existing shares, on the Main List of the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki. Trading in the new shares will begin on or around May 9, 2012.

Stock options issued under Konecranes Plc’s ongoing stock option plans entitle their holders to subscribe for a total of 2,195,500 shares. The terms and conditions of all of the company’s stock option plans are available at

The subscription period for B-series options under the 2007 stock option plan ended on April 30, 2012

The B-series stock options entitled to subscriptions of a total of 1,000,000 shares. The subscription price was EUR 25.72 per share, and a total of 5,300 new shares were subscribed for under the plan. The full subscription price EUR 136,316 has been entered in the paid-in capital. The option rights that were not exercised by the end of the subscription period are no longer valid.
