Sanna Päiväniemi, (43), M.Sc. (forestry), has been appointed Investor Relations Manager for Konecranes Group effective as of 4 August 2008.
Sanna Päiväniemi has a broad experience in the field of international investor relations. She joins Konecranes from Glitnir Asset Management Ltd. Prior to this Ms Päiväniemi was Business Development Manager for the Investment Management business line at Glitnir Bank. Her previous positions include Investor Relations Manager at FIM Group and Rautaruukki. Prior to Rautaruukki she worked as investment analyst at Opstock Securities. She will report to Mikael Wegmüller, Director, Marketing and Communications, Konecranes.
Konecranes' current IR Manager Paul Lönnfors, (45), B.Sc.(Econ.), has decided to continue, during autumn 2008, his post-graduate education.
