From consulting to commitment

Olga’s career with Konecranes began as a three-year journey in an external consultancy role, offering her expert advice to our company. When she wanted to relocate from Ukraine to Austria, Konecranes didn’t hesitate to embrace her talent internally and add her as a member of our company.

“I appreciate how Konecranes helped me in a difficult moment in my life. I have been very impressed about the working style here, how business processes are organized, and how professional the teams are,” Olga highlights.

Marking an important transition, Olga accepted Konecranes’ offer and ever since, has been able to add close to three years of in-house experience to her professional journey. This illustrates Konecranes’ flexibility and support for its employees’ life changes, both small and more significant.

Mastering the SAP landscape

In her current role as an SAP Finance Configuration Owner, Olga is the go-to expert for anything related to finance functionality at Konecranes. In other words, she plays a critical role in supporting and developing the systems that keep financial gears turning smoothly at our company.

“I am very curious about everything and constantly learn something new. In this role, I also get to communicate with people around the world, which is very interesting.”

In her words, she finds her work fascinating, and the team dynamics provided at Konecranes have made her work experience even more pleasant – even when the work she does is rather independent.

More than just numbers and code

When she’s not focusing on the complex world of SAP configurations, Olga spends her free time with her unique personal interests. It is exactly Konecranes’ healthy work-life balance that makes Olga appreciate what our company has to offer.

“You can always find enough time to do nice things in your private life.”

Currently Olga embraces the challenge of learning German and the delicate art of playing the piano – this brings creativity to her otherwise analytical work life.

Support always, in all ways

Olga speaks warmly of her professional development at Konecranes, stating that her growth is all due to a culture that requires a dynamic skill set. With new challenges being faced daily, she emphasizes the company’s contribution to her continuous learning curve and praises the valuable opportunities for professional growth.

The heart of Olga’s Konecranes experience is the different people she gets to collaborate with. Encountering like-minded professionals has allowed her to share ideas freely, which embraces an environment of mutual inspiration and respect.

To highlight the collaborative work environment provided by our company, Olga describes Konecranes as “stable, professional, and supportive.” For her, these aren’t simply buzzwords; they are the principles that make Konecranes a reliable, cheerful, and ethical place to work in.

“I feel secured, supported, and respected in my position here at Konecranes. The people here are great.”
