Spanopoulos Group invests in new buildings and machines in order to have a complete new process of building a ship and parts of it.

After analyzing the customer’s needs, the client Spanopoulos Group came up with some top priorities: Safety for people and parts together with after sales support in combination with the new digital technology of real time data. All of the above lead Spanopoulos Group to ask Konecranes to elaborate together such a solution. Konecranes has a long experience in the harbor and shipyard sector all over the word. After analyzing the customer needs one by one, the crane builder Konecranes created an offer for the complete solution. Engineering – production – installation – service and more. Both companies started a cooperation and the first project concerns 4 cranes with 20 tons each, that will be installed in Salamina Shipyard of Spanopoulos Group with the latest technology.
